Fall Color Pop

Fall wardrobes are often influenced by earth tones that draw from a palette of browns, tans, warm grays, and greens. This year designers are using bold and bright colors to brighten up our fall wardrobes.   Two of my favorite pops of color are Aurora Red and Royal Blue.  Aurora Red is a true red, without too much blue or yellow in it.  Royal Blue is a rich blue often with a faint hint of purple or red tones.  They work well paired together and look great combined with fall neutrals.  Try wardrobing Aurora Red with neutrals such as khaki and chocolate brown.  Royal Blue looks perfect teamed with steel grey, cypress green, and maroon.  If a red sweater or coat feels too bold, wear a more flattering neutral color near your face and add your pop of color with an accessory such as a handbag, bracelet, belt, shoes or red lips.
