Trending: Lace-Up & Off-The Shoulder

By now you are most likely very familiar with the romantic and surprisingly wearable off-the-shoulder trend.  Strapless and cold shoulder tops, dresses, jumpers and swimsuits can be found everywhere in retail stores this season. In fact they did not anticipate the demand for this particular style. Nothing conjures sunny climates and longer days like the shoulder baring styles. Opt for cut-outs, sleeveless, halters or off-shoulder styles. For extra support find a style with a spaghetti straps.  The top is flirty, flattering, and allows you to show some of your sun kissed skin with feminine details such as waterfall sleeves, bohemian embroidery, and ruffles. These feminine styles can be found in tops, dresses, jumpers and swimsuits. The off-the-shoulder wardrobe essential will continue into fall with more one shoulder and layering looks. There is also a trend towards off-the-shoulder outerwear.  For a more conservative look go with wardrobe piece such as a sweater that can be pulled off the shoulders and layered over a turtle neck, crisp button-up or crew neck long sleeve tee for a very fashion forward office look.

Lace up footwear in all shapes and sizes including; sandals, pointy toe flats, booties, and heels all continue to be a huge trend going into fall 2016.  Everything from bohemian gladiator styles to preppy flats are getting a make-over with extra lacing, fun colors, suede, tassels, fringe, and studding.  If you are worried about drawing attention to your ankles, opt for a nude or blush tone lace up shoe that compliments your skin tone and elongates your legs. Finding a sexy strappy nude heel or wedge for evening can have the same effect and is very on trend for fall.
