Relaxed basics are perfect wardrobe staples for transitioning from season to season. Denim, light weight long sleeve tops, button-ups, and pencil skirts are timeless and classic. Wear them during warmer late summer days and layer these pieces into the fall and winter.  Try mixing daytime work basics into my more casual weekend look to create a new fresh look from your existing closet.  Button ups and skirts are definitely not just for the office and look great mixed with a casual tee or distressed denim to keep them looking casual and fresh.

Distressed denim can give you that effortless cool-girl vibe.  It’s meant to look lived-in and a bit messy and can be a great way to add a bit of edge to your look.  If you don’t already own a pair,  you can find them at every price point along with the newest patchwork and flare styles that will keep you looking fashion forward.  Mix them with more conservative tops and a pointy toe flat, white sneaker or kitten heel to match your own signature style.
